the subject is how to organise unitwise
the action isto be taken for an individual unit - say for example - nungambakkam - then we should proceed -
1. take a copy of voters list and check probable names for the brahmin families when door to door membership is taken up.
2. visit streets where the brahmin population is more.
3. check with the Vadhars and Sastris in that area.
4. check with priests in that area.
5. visit temples during important
festival days - pradosham, sankataharasathurthi, krithigai, thiruvonam natshatram, vaikuntha ekadasi, sivarathri, ramanavami, aadi velli, brahmostavam, etc. the list is endless
6. each unit should have at least 10 committee members who strongly beleive that "WE CAN AND WE MUST" for this mission.
7. two hours from 6 to 8 PM or 7 to PM on saturday evenings and 8 to 10 AM on sunday mornings could be the ideal timings for door to door canvassing.
8. each unit should have a list of what Thambraas has done - at the state level, at the dist level and at the unit level - to inform and convince the community people.
9. the future plans of thambraas to help brahmin community at large should also be known to the committee members.
10. participation by the key committee members in all local functions will bring familiarity among the community to remember and
become members when the doors are tapped for membership.
